Of course, the Sharks don’t think the Blake hit was a big deal

Just finished reading the predictable reactions by Sharks players and media about the Rob Blake hit on Galiardi. What hit? What’s the big deal? Move on. Well, duh, of course that’s what they’re going to say. Whenever it’s one of their guys who got hit by one of your guys, it’s always “Just hockey” or “He didn’t mean it” or “He’s not that kind of player.” So, gee, I’m shocked, shocked by their reaction. Just like the proprietor of Rick’s was shocked, shocked that there might be gambling going on in the back, in “Casablanca.” One question for the Sharks crowd: If that had been Joe Thornton’s face pile-driven by a forearm shiver, is it “just hockey” then? Uh-huh.
