Frustration is growing for the Edmonton Oilers, and the same could be said of the Florida Panthers. One of them should feel somewhat better Tuesday night as these teams attempt to end their respective five-game losing streaks. It's still early but Edmonton (3-10-2) and Florida (3-8-3) are among the worst teams in the NHL, and those struggles appear to be wearing on them. The Oilers are opening a four-game road trip hoping to avoid a sixth straight loss for the first time since April 4-16. They've been outscored 11-1 in the last three games. Edmonton turned in its worst offensive showing of the season Saturday, mustering just 14 shots in a 5-0 loss to Detroit. That came after taking a season-high 43 shots in last Tuesday's 4-0 loss to Toronto. The Oilers haven't scored a goal in 155 minutes, 48 seconds.
