Patrick Kane dismantled the dark cloud that haunted him for the past seven games without producing a goal, and just one in his last 14 starts.
It happened last night against a lot of former 2010 Blackhawks now of the Florida Panthers.

As you can see, Kane had Viktor Stalberg on the 2-on-1 rush, but when you’re on a slump, why not take the shot?
It looked as Jose Theodore was getting ready to switch over to commit to Stalberg, so Kane had an opportunity to just keep it simple and put a shot on net.
And that’s all that was needed.
After being named the No. 1 star, Kane was asked about getting that goal and snapping the skid. He reverted to other matters, such as the harsh blizzard that rocked Chicago that night, and thanked the fans for coming out.
A smooth move on Kane. He also went on to about about his line mates in Stalberg and Toews, and how great it felt to be able to contribute.
