The Penguins drew first blood in the first minutes of the game on the power play on an apparent goal by Simon Despres only to be given to Brandon Sutter on a deflection. This was the first goal given up by the Devils on the penalty kill in their last 20. The Pens controlled much of the first period but could not get anything past Martin Brodeur who was steady if not spectacular in his 1200th NHL game. In the second period the Pens seemed to come a bit unhinged starting a parade to the penalty box killing off one after another of the devils power plays. Home and homes are like torture.Â
If we wanted to spend this much time with people who live in New Jersey, we'd just kill ourselves and go to the laundromat in hell.Â
Alas, hockey makes us see terrible things sometimes.

Hope you are out of the snow and in your pajamas this Saturday afternoon.
