Paul Bissonnette has made a career in the desert being an imposing forward for the Phoenix Coyotes, but fans probably don’t know about “biznastys” softer side.

Bissonnette was drafted in the 4th round by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He has been with Phoenix for the past two seasons. Bissonnette played in 48 games this season and only had one goal to show for his efforts. He did however have 71 penalty minutes to his name. This isn’t unusual, as Bissonnette has found a nice niche being an enforcer for the Coyotes.

Recently, Bissonnette has become a social media icon. His twitter, BizNasty2point0, has 89,563 followers as fans and common folk wait to see what Bissonnette will tweet about next.

On the ice Bissonnette is a tough guy who imposes fear in the Coyotes opponent, but off the ice Bissonnette is a caring individual who can be found doing charity work. He participated in the Coyotes charity softball game on May 23rd, he advocates for the homeless, and on Tuesday May 31st Bissonnette and Coyotes broadcaster Tyson Nash will compete in a bar tending duel at Kierland Commons in Scottsdale to benefit St. Jude Hospital.

Most fans only know Bissonnette as a tough NHL player who loves to drop the gloves, but few know of his kind heart and caring personality.
