Mikkel Boedker will start his off season by representing Denmark in the IIHF World Championship.
Mikkel will play with his brother, Mads, for Denmark in the tournament that begins this Friday. The 16-team tournament will conclude on May 15th and give Mikkel plenty of time to get into his off season regiment. Mikkel played for Denmark in the 2009 tournament, where he scored 3 goals and had 1 assist.
Denmark will be in groud “D” in this years tournament along with Finland, Latvia, and the Czech Republic.
Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson will also be in the tournament, as he will play for Sweden.
