Washington Capitals (12-15-1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (22-8-0) ROOT, NHLN-US, CSN-DC, TSN 2 - 7:30 pm/et Consol Energy Center - Pittsburgh, PA Right now, it doesn't feel as big as it once did when the Capitals visit Pittsburgh. But, believe us, if the Caps beat the Penguins tonight and break the Pens' winning streak, they'll be hanging a banner up in the Verizon Center. It will go right between the "2011 Winter Classic Champions" and the "2004 Draft Lottery Winner" banners. This Day in Pittsburgh Penguins History:  March 19, 2007 - Pittsburgh Penguins @ New York Rangers. Rangers won 2-1 [Pensblog Recap] Season Series: 2-0-0 Last meeting that counted: February 7, 2013. Penguins won 5-2. What we said in our recap: This game was like being late for work, showing up without anyone noticing, then powerbombing whatever work you had to do and Mike Green at the same time. Pens looked dead in the water for most of the first. The Caps even scored the first goal. But Malkin tied it up, and then Adam Oates went emo on his goaltenders. There used to be a time when playing the Caps was a benchmark for where the Pens stood in the East. Now, you just want the games to be over with because you feel bad for them. Know Your Enemy: Rock The Red.net What they're saying: The Washington Capitals have recalled defenseman Dmitry Orlov from the Hershey Bears of the AHL. He will be available to play in tomorrow's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Tom Poti suffered an apparent back injury after Sabres forward Steve Ott cross-checked him in the lower back. With status of Mike Green, John Erskine, and Tomas Kundratek still unclear, Orlov is likely to play his first game of the season tomorrow. Pittsburgh Penguins Lines: Kunitz - Crosby - Dupuis Bennett - Jeffrey - Neal Cooke(?) - Sutter - Kennedy Glass - Vitale - Adams Orpik - Martin Eaton - Niskanen Despres - Engelland Fleury Washington Capitals Lines: Johansson - Backstrom - Ovechkin Fehr - Ribero - Brouwer Chimera - Perreault - Ward Laich - Beagle - Hendricks Alzner - Olesky Hillen - Carlson Schultz - Orlov Holtby Lines via Daily Faceoff.  Cooke is a game-time decision. If can't play, the Pens will dress seven defensemen. Do It. Go Pens.
