Source: Citizens Voice The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed another restricted free agent of their own. It was announced today that forward Brian Gibbons has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Penguins. The contract is worth $550,000 at the NHL level. Gibbons, 25, signed with Pittsburgh as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and played his second season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in 2012-13. He registered 30 points in both of his two seasons with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. In 70 games last season, he notched 8 goals and 22 assists. Gibbons also registered 3 goals and 5 assists in the 2013 Calder Cup playoffs. Gibbons was one of the last remaining restricted free agents in the Penguins organization.
