  Well, it was a hell of a run. 29 of a possible 30 points over a 15 game stretch as the Bruins climbed to the top of the Eastern Conference from the cellar, but the point streak was snapped tonight north of the border in the capital of Manitoba, and the Bruins visited Winnipeg for the first time in more than 15 years. One would expect the Bruins to come out flat after playing a game last night in Pittsburgh and then traveling 1300 miles to Manitoba, but flat they were not. The Bruins played with energy all night and got better as the game went on. Andrew Ladd got the Jets going late in the first period, when his wrist shot beat Tuukka Rask high blocker side to give Winnipeg a 1-0 lead. After a scoreless second period and a frantic, up and down pace of play, the Bruins tied the game as Daniel Paille threw a shot on Ondrej Pavelec that deflected off of the glove of Shawn Thornton to knot the score at one.
