Can’t get much better than a KISS paraphrase song title, now can it. Caaaaan it???? That’s better. But seriously, a good deuce for the lads tonight at the buzz-challenged Pepsi Center. About half the game, I could hear, pretty clearly too, a lot of the things players were yelling to each other on the ice, all the way up to my perch in the press box. No matter, the boys didn’t care. Just went out and got a solid deuce on the Cats from Florida. They were a bit like the Washington Generals all night, the Cats, but that was just fine for the Avs, who had to get that deuce to keep the small gulf between them and the bubblers down the way. Andy was superb tonight. No, the Panthers didn’t put a lot of traffic at the net and didn’t get him moving side to side much, but Andy was there regardless.
