More and more the roster is starting to look complete for the season opener against Columbus. The Predators were out at Centennial this morning and will be for the next two days (10:30 a.m. in case you want to go watch) working on line combinations and PP and PK drills. The line combinations this morning are as follows: Forwards Erat/Spaling/Kostitsyn Tootoo/O’Reilly/Halischuk Smith/Legwand/Wilson Stortini/Fisher/Bergfors Smithson/Geoffrion/Hornqvist Defense Weber/Suter Laakso(Ekholm)/Hillen Klein/Blum Goaltending Rinne Lindback These line combinations are a bit unusual. Trotz may be doing one of two things; making sure everyone plays with everyone to build solid team chemistry in case of injuries or each forward line having two scorers and one solid defensive forward to keep a balance throughout the lineup. Bouillon skated in the non-contact drills, but Fisher played the entire morning on both rinks and showed well using his size and superb wrist shot to his advantage.
