The Nashville Predators signed a couple of fowards on Tuesday. Zack Stortini and Kyle Wilson have joined the Predators organization. Stortini signed a one-year, two-way deal worth $550 000 at the NHL level and $75 000 at the AHL level. Last season, the 25 year old split his time between the Edmonton Oilers and the Oklahoma City Barons of the AHL. In 32 games for the Oilers, Stortini picked up 4 assists. Stortini has played in 256 NHL games since 2006 scoring 14 goals and adding 27 assists. The right wing is considered a power forward at 6’4 and has some familiarity with the Predators organization. Stortini played for the Milwaukee Admirals in 2006 when the team reached the Calder Cup Finals. That Admirals team included five current Predators, including captain Shea Weber, Kevin Klein, Jordin Tootoo, Cal O’Reilly and Pekka Rinne.
