Hitting the ‘refresh’ button is a common occurrence for all us who surf around the internet. On Day 2 of last month’s NHL Entry Draft, Josh Shalla did just that and saw his name appear on the screen. At that point he found out that he was drafted in the fourth round by the Nashville Predators.Shalla had a huge season for the Saginaw Spirit of the OHL, registering a team-record 47 goals, as well as 72 points. In the process he was named to the OHL’s Third All-Star Team with the fifth-most goals in the league. All of this came after he was completely passed over in last summer’s draft.
