The much-anticipated return of Predators defenseman Shea Weber was overshadowed by a disappointing 4-1 loss at the hands of the Dallas Stars. Turnovers were costly for the Predators in the loss, as Dallas forwards Mike Ribeiro, Jamie Benn and Loui Eriksson each tallied two points.“We weren’t sharp. It was a self-inflicted four goals – that’s how I look at it,” Predators head coach Barry Trotz said after the game. “Every goal, I can point to us rather than them.”The Stars took a 1-0 lead at 4:18 of the first period when Mike Ribeiro stick-handled around Roman Josi and Pekka Rinne en route to the net. With the scored tied at 1-1 – courtesy of Gabriel Bourque’s first NHL goal – Ribeiro scored again when he poked a loose puck past the goal line.
