As the clock is about to strike midnight in the lockout countdown, the Nashville Predators have decided to use their "waiver time" wisely. In this waiver, which you can read all the details here, teams are allowed to send veteran players of the AHL with a two-way contract to have the right to play for their farm team. They won't have to be put on re-entry waivers if they are call back 3 days before the start of the season, according to Renaud Lavoie of RDS.
