After an action-packed All Star weekend up in Ottawa, Jonathan Quick has returned to Los Angeles and was back on the ice today. But the Kings’ schedule allows no rest for our goalie as he prepares to face the Blue Jackets tomorrow night in Columbus. In a normal world, we wouldn’t be too worried about the team with the lowest number of points in the entire NHL, but they seem to pose a bit of a problem for the Kings. Since the arrival of Darryl Sutter, the Kings have earned at least one point in all but two games. And yes, one of those games was against Columbus on January 7 when they took a 1-0 loss. But don’t fret, the Kings lost by only one goal, plus the Blue Jackets have only 32 points this season (yikes). So how does our team avoid another shutout and loss? Improve the power plays.
