From Arthur Staple at Blue Notes: Lines and D pairings for tonight’s game, from today’s half-hour skate: Higgins-Drury-Callahan Brashear-Boyle-Voros Avery-Crowder-Parenteau Grachev-Anisimov-Lisin Redden-Rozsival Heikkinen-Potter Semenov-Sanguinetti Tortorella was asked after the skate about the quick demotion to the Hartford camp for Michael Sauer. “He was disappointed,” Tortorella said. “We have (Matt) Gilroy here, we have (Michael) Del Zotto, I haven’t seen Sanguinetti yet… We’re going to shuffle the deck at the defensive position until we find the final 6 or 7 guys.” Tortorella also had praise for Paul Crowder, who could benefit from Brandon Dubinsky’s holdout. “We just want to take at him some more,” Tortorella said. Let’s hope we see some offense come out of these lines.
