According to Hockey Trade Rumors (who have been pretty spot-on all day), it's rumored that the Rangers have acquired Robbie Schremp from the Edmonton Oilers. We'll let you know as this is confirmed or debunked.
Larry Brooks first reported in the Post this week on the Rangers interest in Schremp, the Oilers' first-round pick in 2004. According to Brooks, Schremp has been "toiling in Springfield (AHL) and has fallen out of favor with GM Kevin Lowe."
