The New York Rangers have another test tonight at Madison Square Garden as they take on the Dallas Stars. The Stars are without goaltender Kari Lehtonen and are still third in the Western Conference with 33 points. With that said, they will have Richard Bachman, a 24-year-old rookie, in between the pipes for his second career start. For the Rangers, it will be their third game in four nights as they look to win their third straight game. In the team’s two victories, the Rangers have outscored their opponents by a score of 10-1 and have been strong in all areas of their game. With that said, the Rangers have to be aware of the “trap” game. While the Stars may be in third in the West, the Rangers have a lot more depth and are stronger in each position, which sometimes ends up forcing teams to play down to their opponent’s weaker level.
