Yesterday, the New York Rangers signed free agent defenseman Brendan Bell:
Tuesday afternoon the Rangers added to their depth at the defense position by signing free agent Brendan Bell to a contract.
Bell, 28, has 101 games of NHL experience with the Maple Leafs, Coyotes, and Senators, having last played in the NHL back in 2008-09 when he notched 21 points in 53 games with Ottawa. Last year Bell played in the Swiss A-League, registering 11 points in 29 games.
