I guess one point is better than none right? Not the Pot-O-Gold we were looking for though

Click the jump for the recap

The return of Datsyuk didn't go quite as well as we all hoped. Datsyuk looked great in his return, and quickly showed us why we had missed him so much by scoring an answer goal 23 seconds after the Sharks put the game up 2-0.

1 out of 6 points on this trip is not acceptable. This team doesn't look like it can make it out of the 1st round with the way they are playing. I know that there are plenty of injuries, but can this team get back to their winning ways and build up enough confidence to go on a real run?

Speaking of injuries... The Namesake left the game limping after trying to hit Dominic Moore only to awkwardly hit his knee. Helm will be reevaluated Monday and is not likely to play when the Wings host the caps.

There are 10 games left. 20 possible points to earn and the Wings need all they can get. We are 8 points behind the Blues with hopes of catching them fading fast. More importantly we are only 2 points up on Nashville and we need to stay that way.

Next game is vs Washington Monday at 7:30 on FSD
