Former Buffalo Sabres forward Matthew Barnaby, currently an ESPN analyst, was charged with DWI after being found driving without a front tire early Monday morning, WGRZ reported.
Barnaby, 38, failed several sobriety tests and refused a breath test after being pulled over in the imbalanced Porsche Cayenne by Erie County Sheriffs in Clarence, N.Y.
The vehicle, which had significant front end damage, was causing sparks where the rim of the vehicle met the road.
Barnaby was arrested and charged and his license was revoked. He was ordered to return to Town of Clarence Court, WIVB reported.
The arrest was the former NHL star's second this year and could see him pay a heavy retrospective penalty, after being issued with a one-year ACD related to a domestic incident with his estranged wife in May.
