Defenseman Jason Garrison reportedly will sign a six-year deal with the Vancouver Canucks. The new contract is worth $4.6 million per year, TSN.com reported Sunday. Garrison, 27, had a career year in 2011-12 with 16 goals and 17 assists in 77 games with the Florida Panthers. The offensive-minded defenseman added a goal and two assists for the Panthers in the playoffs at the end of his second full NHL campaign.
