Ryan Potulny signs 1 year, 2-way deal with the Blackhawks

Capgeek.com has mentioned that ex- Edmonton Oiler Ryan Potulny has signed a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks to a 1 year deal worth 500k a season. This is also a 2-way contract and has been confirmed by a source of Chris Kuc, a writer for the Chicago Tribune. This adds another ex Oiler to the fold as recently Fernando Pisani signed a 1 year contract worth the same amount but on a 1 way deal. What this does for Chicago is add a bit more depth to the team and will ultimately mean Potulny will be fighting for a final roster spot with Jake Dowell, Viktor Stalberg, Jack Skille, Kyle Beach, Marcus Kruger, and Jeff Taffe. Potulny had a brief stint with the Philadelphia Flyers playing in 42 games over 3 seasons amassing 12 goals and 2 assists in those games at the NHL level. In Edmonton he had a good season last year scoring 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 pts in 64 games.
