Via capgeek, the deal is a one year, two way deal worth $500K at the NHL level.
Potulny, 26, finished the 2009-10 season with a quietly productive 15G-17A-32PTS in 64 GP. He was acquired from Philadelphia in 2008 in the deal that sent Danny Syvret to the Flyers.
He joins Fernando Pisani as the second former Oiler to join Chicago this offseason.
This leaves Andrew Cogliano. He’s spoken out that he’s willing to tweak his game into more of a two-way role, and he’s said that he wants to remain an Oiler.
How many guys could say that six months ago?
