It's been a tough year for Ryane Clowe and the San Jose Sharks. To say Clowe has struggled in 2013 would be a tremendous understatement. As the Sharks sputter through their schedule, desperately trying to stay in the playoff picture, Clowe has been arguably the most disappointing player on the San Jose roster.

Let's provide a bit of background. Clowe scored 24 goals and 62 points in 2010-11 and 17 goals and 45 points in 2011-12. So far in 2013, Clowe has zero goals and nine assists in 25 games.
