As has happened so many times this season, a player was hit hard in the head and went down. Andrew Desjardins got to his feet and was helped to the quiet room. Now Sharks fans wait, and that’s pretty much what the team does too.
During the game, one of the announcers mentioned something to the effect of “we hope he can return to the game.” This comment made me angry...

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Dane Byers has been suspended for three games without pay by the NHL for his hit on San Jose's Andrew Desjardins.
Byers delivered a shoulder-to-head hit on Desjardins at 3:01 of the second period during Saturday's game. He was given a match penalty for attempting to deliver an illegal check to the head.
