  • I agree that Dallas has the first responsibility to deal with Avery, but I believe the league has a right & responsibility also. Avery's remarks were more than just insulting to an opposing player, or even one or more specific, individual women. They were demeaning to women in general. Lat I checked, women make up a significant portion of the fan base. If he had a made a RACIAL comment of the same caliber, the reaction would be huge.
