The Los Angeles Kings would just like to avoid a three-game slide.
Quick will try to bounce back from a costly gaffe and help the Kings continue their home dominance of the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night.
Quick started this season in strong fashion, stopping 27 of 29 shots before turning aside both shootout attempts in Thursday's 3-2 win over Minnesota. He hasn't been nearly that effective over the last two games, giving up seven goals on 55 shots.
His latest performance, however, included his worst moment of the young season. The All-star goaltender left the net to play a dump-in off the boards early in the third period, but lost his stick before the puck deflected off his blocker and trickled in for a short-handed goal - and the final tally - in a 3-1 defeat to the New York Rangers on Monday.
