Was Saturday night the last we’ll see Ryane Clowe in a Sharks sweater?
The Clowe trade rumors have been circulating for some time already, and now there could be real action imminent ahead of Wednesday’s noon PT trade deadline with CSN’s Kevin Kurz reporting that the Sharks’ bruising winger could be spending Easter packing his bags:
A source has informed CSNCalifornia.com...
Kevin Kurtz at CSN California reports that the Sharks have approached Ryane Clowe’s agent about the possibility of waiving his no-trade clause, and a deal could happen as soon as today.
Kurtz, who says Boston, Montreal and the Rangers appear to be the most likely destinations for Clowe, adds that Sharks director of pro scouting John Ferguson, Jr. was in Philadelphia for the...
The NHL trade deadline is just a couple of days away, which means the trade rumors could be about to ramp up.
One name that has been bandied about is San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe. The veteran winger hasn’t done much this season in terms of production — he’s yet to even score a goal — but there is still reportedly plenty of interest across the league.

Despite the Detroit Red Wings losing to the San Jose Sharks 2-0, Pavel Datsyuk still managed to entertain everyone with a fancy dangle out of his bag of tricks. San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture, who was celebrating his 24th birthday, got a special gift from Pavel Datsyuk in the early stages of the 1st period. Couture tried to stay with Datsyuk in the corner and was completely...
Happy birthday, Logan Couture.
Pavel Datsyuk is here to remind you how slippery that ice can be:
UPDATE: Logan Couture was cool about it:
Hey @datsyuk13 really bro? On my bday...cmonnnn.. Someone fix that ice in the corner..youtube.com/watch?v=LwyVi6…

The Detroit Red Wings had little to get excited about during a 2-0 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night, but Pavel Datsyuk’s incredible work on a first-period play against Logan Couture was an exception.
Datsyuk took a pass off the boards from Johan Franzen deep in the San Jose zone, then proceeded to pull off a crossover move on Couture that looked more appropriate for...
Pavel Datsyuk is a wizard with the hockey puck, and he continues to show us that time and time again.
The Red Wings forward was at it again Thursday night when he decided to show off what basketball fans might call “sick handle” against poor Logan Couture and the San Jose Sharks.
Datsyuk is clearly feeling March Madness, as he showed off some incredible stick-handling that had...
Pavel Datsyuk is a wizard with the puck. As countless defensemen from around the NHL can confirm, defending him is nearly an impossible task. Whatever you do, don't blink and don't lose your balance.
What happens when a forward tries his hand at defending the Detroit star? We found out when the Detroit Red Wings took on the San Jose Sharks and Logan Couture slid over to...
Pavel Datsyuk makes NHL players look dumber than the sequel to Van Wilder (The Rise of Taj). His shootout goals are jaw dropping and his stick handling gives me a sports boner. Against the San Jose Sharks he puts some magical moves on Logan Couture that break his ankles and sends him flopping like Shane Battier. Like dropping the mic or throwing the ball into the stands, had Datsyuk...
That was a really boring game to watch. It didn’t seem to me that Detroit had very many quality scoring chances last night. Most of their shots came from the boards with no screen in front. Only one PP the whole game and it was ours. Very uneventful game.

Howard doesn’t get much help these days and certainly doesn’t get much help in San Jose....
