TEAMS: Nashville Predators, Vancouver Canucks
There has been a possibility that Shea Weber could be going to the Vancouver Canucks. Weber will become a restricted free agent after this season. I think the Canucks should offer Keith Ballard, Mason Raymond and Cody Hodgson for Weber. For the Predators, they’ll be getting some young players and also Ballard’s contract. It would be nice to not add Ballard to the name, but if we don’t add Ballard, the trade won’t really work out because the Canucks would be over the cap. I think this trade could help both teams.

Suter may be more important to Preds than Weber…
Shea Weber is the captain of this team and there is nobody in the league (sans a certain Boston Bruins defenseman) with a harder shot. He’s a great all-around player and he leads the Nashville Predators in scoring (32 points). He’s about to become a three time All-Star and he’s a Norris Trophy runner-up.
You know what else he is? More expendable than Ryan Suter...
Rinne, Predators Shutout Blue Jackets 3-0
Despite a 38 shot Columbus barrage, including 18 in the final period, Pekka Rinne stopped everything that came his way as he picked up his fourth shutout of the year as he led the Nashville Predators to a 3-0 victory at Nationwide Arena on Thursday night.Marty Erat and Mike Fisher scored second period goals that would have been plenty but as time was ticking down and the Preds were...
Preds are NHL’s comeback kids
NASHVILLE – The Nashville Predators never feel like they are out of a game. It may sound cliché, but if the first half of their season proved anything, it’s that the Preds are capable of winning no matter what kind of deficit they face. This season, the Preds have made five comebacks in 17 instances when trailing after the second period, good for the highest percentage in the...
Predators Return to the Scene of the Crime in Columbus
On December 8, a criminal act went unreported at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus. Toward the end of the game, the Blue Jackets looked assured of a rare victory of the visiting Nashville Predators. Columbus had led the entire game was leading 3-1 with under two minutes left in the contest. The beginning of the crime started with 96 seconds left in the game when Patric Hornqvist put...

The Los Angeles Kings took a rough road game to the Vancouver Canucks last night, controlling play and pushing the pace in a 3-2 shootout victory at Rogers Arena.

Pro-Canucks, Anti-Bruins propaganda uses Jon Stewart’s cynicism for 10-minute diatribe (Video)
In case you were wondering about the severity of the psychological scarring suffered by some Vancouver Canucks fans after losing the Stanley Cup to the Boston Bruins: It apparently runs "I'll make a 10-minute propaganda piece with clips from 'The Daily Show' to demonize the Bruins" deep.
That said: This is wickedly entertaining, intercutting between the Bruins...
Classic moments in Kings, Canucks game
There are a few things that I feel need to be addressed from the Kings shootout victory against the Canucks last night…
1. Our favorite, Dustin Penner
– A fan brought a bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup to the game to poke fun at Penner. Guess it wasn’t funny after he scored the first goal of the night, was it Canucks fans?
– He scored his first goal in the last...
