Sidney Crosby hates hats apparently... Crosby just keeps providing more ammunition for his detractors. His latest gaffe is on display at our friend Dan Steinberg's D.C. Sports Bog over at The Washington Post's site. Crosby complains about people throwing hats, then goes on to discuss Simeon Varlamov's sloppy positioning (seriously). [...]If you're one of the best hockey players in the world, and you havea potentially undeserved reputation for excessive complaining, andyou're asked what you were discussing with a game official followingyour rival's game-clinching playoff hat trick, you could potentiallysay, "Oh, it was nothing." Or, if you were feeling frisky, you couldventure further afield."People kept throwing hats," Sidney Crosby said tonight. "I was justasking if he could make an announcement to ask them to stop. I mean, the first wave came and then I think they were all pretty much pickedup, and then more started coming.
