Some Quick Hit Thoughts

Just wanted to share some stuff passing through my mind as these unpredictable playoffs continue to surprise hockey fans. -I officially eat any and all disparaging words I have spoken/written about (this year’s) Habs.  They have certainly earned a spot in the Conference Final with two unbelievable upsets. -In continued grovelling, the tiny 1st line of Gionta, Cammalleri, and Gomez are playing way taller than their average height with a combined 41 points through 14 games. -If anyone still says that Montreal should keep Carey Price over Jaroslav Halak, I would tell them to get their head examined.  He may not be the biggest guy or have the projections of an elite goaltender like Carey Price allegedly does, but he is a big game goaltender. -I know a lot of the blame will fall on Crosby and Malkin’s shoulders, but maybe now this team will think of getting some legitimate 1st and 2nd line scoring wingers to take the pressure off.  The aging Guerin, inconsistent Kunitz, and m...
