The New Jersey Devils are 'Stayin' Alive' after a Game 4 win.
No one ever wants to be the person to ruin a party but all the Devils fans on the east coast were beyond ecstatic that no Stanley Cup ceremony took place at the Staples Center last night.
The Devils needed to find a way to at least match the Los Angeles Kings intensity for Game 4, or one up the Kings at their own game. The Kings bring speed, skill, & size in to every position on the ice. While the world seemed against the team in red to have any chance to muster up a win after some backbreakers, the boys found some mojo to keep this series alive and head home for Saturday’s contest at Prudential Center.
If the game was going to rival the atmosphere leading up to and during the game, you knew this would be a good show. The first period gave you plenty of stomach pains and thrills. Both the Kings and the Devils put pressure on throughout the period. Devils were firing a lot more shots on Jonathan Quick while...

L.A. news anchor flubs Kings goalie's name
It hasn’t been a good week for the local news people. Earlier this week, some poor lady thought game four in the Heat-Celtics series ended in a tie. Another Los Angeles news woman had an issue reporting on the Los Angeles Kings 4-0 win against the New Jersey Devils in game three of the Stanley Cup Finals. A Los Angeles news anchor, let me repeat…a Los Angeles news anchor called...

Devils offer Sheen tix, place to smoke
Following his meltdown outside the Staples Center during Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, Charlie Sheen has now been offered a few perks by the Devils for Game 5.
After Game 4 win, Devils like their chances
LOS ANGELES -- The pass was a little behind Adam Henrique, nothing that a slight kick of the New Jersey Devils rookie forward's skate couldn't fix.
He got the puck to his stick and then put it past Kings goalie Jonathan Quick, a third-period tally that put the Devils in front for good in a 3-1 victory in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday. On a team with big-name...

Why Zach Parise isn’t coming to New York
The Eastern Conference Finals only provided further evidence that Zach Parise is a terrific player and would be an ideal fit for the New York Rangers.
There’s little doubt that GM Glen Sather is going to make Parise a massive multi-year offer when he becomes an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, but despite New York’s desire to convert the Devils’ captain into a true blue...
We’ve Got a Situation (and a Snooki & J-Woww) at the Stanley Cup Finals
New Jersey Devils – Jersey Shore. You get it right? Totally awesome right? Well, perhaps not, but still. I’m going to plead stupidity on this one… Do arenas let you carry in Big Heads like that? So technically, you can just carry a Big Head into an arena if it’s PG-13 or better? That’s weird. Someone hit me up on this one.
GARTH: Parise's Swan Song?
One wonders if Zach Parise will be playing his last game as a Devil in Hockeywood tonight.
Parise has been a no-show for in the Cup Finals. He's scored 7 goals and added 7 assists in the 2012 playoffs, however, he's been held scoreless by the Kings in the Finals. He's -3 and has only been able to muster 11 shots on Jonaton Quick. With Kovalchuk's back in obvious...
A Veteran And A Youngster Lead The Devils To Victory
from Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun, The Old Man and The Kid are connected by time, jersey colour and once again by circumstance.
The Kid was born in the same year The Old Man was drafted. The Kid who scores goals, mostly important ones, was all of four months old when the New Jersey Devils traded up to select Martin Brodeur in 1990.
The Old Man, Brodeur, defied age and credulity...
Stanley Cup Final Game 4: New Jersey 3, Los Angeles 1
The New Jersey Devils staved off elimination with a stifling 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center. They received goals from Patrik Elias, Adam Henrique, and an empty-netter from Ilya Kovalchuk. Tune in to Game 5 at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, Saturday night at 8pm on NBC.
L.A. Kings Are Dominating Every Aspect of New Jersey Devils
Can you think of one aspect in which the Los Angeles Kings are not completely dominating the New Jersey Devils?
You already know that the Kings are up 3-0 and will most likely capture the Stanley Cup tonight for the first time in their franchise history.
The Kings have the best twitter account in sports (its shockingly hilarious for a team-owned account), they have the hottest...

Devils Still Breathing
from Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail, Put the coronation on hold - for three nights anyway. One win away from their first Stanley Cup championship in 45 years, the Los Angeles Kings couldn’t close the deal Wednesday night, falling 3-1 to a New Jersey Devils team that had nothing to lose and were finally rewarded for some hard luck and bad bounces endured earlier in the series...

In between watching the goaltenderâs duel between Martin Brodeur and Jonathan Quick, it's time to answer some of your questions about the decisions the Leafs will be making in the next month, which arguably will be the most critical 30 days of Brian Burkeâs tenure as general manager in Toronto.
