Tyler Seguin experienced plenty of success with the Boston Bruins after being selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 draft, including winning the Stanley Cup his rookie season.
Still, he wasn't shocked when he was shipped to the Dallas Stars in an offseason trade for a package that included forward Loui Eriksson, who could be making his return in time for the teams' first meeting since the deal Tuesday night in Boston.
"I heard the rumors around the draft and when the day came I wasn't too surprised," Seguin said of the July 4 trade that sent him, Rich Peverley and Ryan Button to Dallas for Eriksson, Reilly Smith, Matt Fraser and Joe Morrow. "They had their reasons. I don't think you can put it on one particular reason. I've moved on and I am excited to be where I am."
