The Rangers signed the lifeless Lee Stempniak to a one year, 900k deal. [ NBC ] Stempniak played okay in Pittsburgh, but some people are pretending that he is any better than what the Penguins have. A quick look at Stempniak’s production in Pittsburgh: Of his 11 points in the regular season, Sidney Crosby was involved in six of them, Chris Kunitz seven. Stempniak also had just three points in 13 playoff games. Yikes.
