On Saturday night the St. Louis Blues and the Colorado Avalanche were a little bit upset at each other. A good old fashioned line brawl happened late in the game, which created this awesome sports image.Blues defenseman Roman Polak had Avs center Brad Malone pinned to the ice during the brawl. The referee stepped in to help protect Malone and yanked Polak's jersey up over his head. At the same time the ref was calling for help from one of his linesmen. The timing by the photographer was perfect as it looks like the referee is reacting in horror to Polak losing his head.Simply great timing.
