Thoughts on a Kaberle Addition

A recent report by the Buffalo News on the status of contract negotiations between the Sabres and Zack Kassian yielded an interesting nugget on the Sabres’ purported interest in Toronto Maple Leaf defenseman Tomas Kaberle. Darth Regier, Dark Sith Lord gave the News the old “we talk to everyone” line, but I wonder if he said it with a twinkle in his eye. The more I think about it, the more I feel that Kaberle would be an excellent fit for the Sabres in 2010-11, despite the number of risks involved in the deal.
