3AM here, just finished watching the draft after finishing up my own hockey game. I gotta say, while I didn’t get my wish of the Rangers drafting MPS (Oilers got themselves a helluva player), the Rangers did a superb job in drafting at the 19 slot. I didn’t really like many of the players available, but Kreider was one of hte more interesting choices. Hes big, he’s strong, and he can skate like the wind. For a John Tortorella team, that might be the most perfect combination of traits in a player. I think this is a superb pick. While I was upset with our pick last season, I am very happy with the player we got this season. I think Kreider may end up being a Phil Kessel type player, but with size and strength if everything goes just perfect.
