Found December 17, 2013 on Next Impulse Sports:
Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn was the recipient of this extremely brutal and dangerous hit from the Capitals’ Tom Wilson on Tuesday night, sending Schenn facefirst into the boards at an awkward angle. Schenn appeared to be seriously injured as a result of the hit and Wilson will likely get a pretty lengthy suspension from the NHL. Not only is this the exact type of hit the league is trying to eliminate from the game, it was also an atrociously long charge on the part of Wilson. via Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post, Brayden Schenn’s night ended more than a period early after a hit threw him head first into the boards. Schenn went flying and the crown of his helmet was the first thing to make contact with the boards behind the...

Tom Wilson Sends Brayden Schenn Back To The Third Grade With Vicious Hit

Capitals winger Tom Wilson, who has more than likely invested in some sort of bone growing medical company decided to deliver them their first patient this evening: Flyers center Brayden Schenn. Wilson flies in from offscreen like a bat out of hell and hurtles toward the unsuspecting Schenn and absolutely crushes him into the boards in one of the most unnecessary hits of the season...

What Can We Expect for Tom Wilson?

Earlier tonight, Tom Wilson was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for charging Braden Schenn.  At the time, it looked really bad and talk of suspension took over social media.  I decided to sit down, look at the hit again as well as the history of charging suspensions to see what we can expect from Shanahan. Washington forward Tom Wilson was ejected from Tuesday’s Capitals-Flyers game for charging Philadelpia forward Brayden Schenn during the second period. The dangerous hit earned Wilson a five-minute major penalty for charging, and then he got five more penalty minutes for fighting Nicklas Grossmann just a few seconds after. On Brayden Schenn and concussions

Flyers forward Brayden Schenn took a tremendous hit from the Capitals’ Tom Wilson in a recent game that knocked Schenn out of the game and resulted in Wilson being booted. Wilson launched himself into Schenn like a missile. If there wasn’t intent to injure on that hit, you could have fooled me.   It came out yesterday that Schenn is feeling pretty well, other than a stiff neck...

Flyers' Brayden Schenn playing; Lecavalier making strides

Good news on the Flyers’ medical front: Center Brayden Schenn, who was sent head-first into the boards after a vicious hit Tuesday, will play Thursday against visiting Columbus, and center Vinny Lecavalier had his best practice since injuring his back and said there was a “possibility” he could return for the six-game road trip that starts Dec. 28 in Edmonton. Schenn, 22,...

NHL Makes Right Call on Tom Wilson

The NHL will not suspend Tom Wilson for a hard check against Philadelphia.

(Video) Washington's Tom Wilson pounds Brayden Schenn into the boards

This is a blatant charging, and it's also a checking from behind penalty. If the NHL's Department of Player Safety doesn't suspend Tom Wilson for this dangerous hit on Brayden Schenn, they're derelict in their duties. There's no sense to these types of hits.Someone is going to get killed on the ice and it's not going to be from a fight, it's going to be...

Flyperbole: Rumor Ruminations on Brayden Schenn, Evander Kane, Steve Mason

BRAYDEN BLUSTER During last week’s podcast, we discussed some of the players that the Flyers might try to re-sign once free agency hits in the offseason. Brayden Schenn is the most curious name of the bunch. He...
