Here's how it went down: The Carolina Hurricanes shipped RW Justin Williams to Los Angeles for LW Patrick O'Sullivan and a 2nd round pick. Carolina then sent O'Sullivan and the 2nd rounder north of the border to Edmonton and then welcomed back forward Eric Cole. Edmonton then sent the 2nd round pick to Buffalo for RW Ales Kotalik. Nice.
