Pierre LeBrun at ESPN.com says the Rangers will be looking for a power play defenseman and/or scoring winger at the trade deadline, but isn't sure they'll get it done....with Sather not likely to part with any of the young core, I think it will be impossible for him to obtain the above mentioned needs. Expect complimentary moves....having said that the power play desperately needs some help. LeBrun also adds that the Rangers have no interest in Wild defenseman Marek Zidlicky. The 35-year-old Zidlicky has zero goals and 11 assists this season. Just two of his assists have been on the power play. Finally, Nicholas J. Cotsonika at Yahoo Sports continues the Ryan Smyth to Rangers rumors by saying the Blueshirts are a team likely...

MINNEAPOLIS Last season, the Minnesota Gophers men's hockey team received their weekend bye in mid-January, less than three weeks after the holiday break.
