Daniel Alfredsson has been a Senator since 1994 but that run will come to an end this offseason.
According to Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun, the Sens captain will not be returning to Ottawa and will be signing with either the Bruins or Red Wings.
In 1,178 career games with the Sens, the Swede has 426 goals and 682 assists for 1,108 points.

On Friday, the Red Wings announced via Twitter that the former Senators captain and Detroit have agreed to a deal.
