The Bruins did a mighty fine job of hanging onto the puck during the third period of Tuesday’s night game, but when they did turn the puck over in their own zone, Tuukka Rask was there to save the day. The B’s goaltender allowed only one goal on the night as his teammates staged a third-period rally to come from behind and win 2-1, in large part due to a tough stop Rask made during the final period. Sven Baertschi took advantage of Boston’s turnover, firing off a spinning backhander from the dot, but Rask was able to make the nifty save, covering it up as Joe Colborne converged on the net for the rebound. Check out Rask’s stop that earned him DCU Save of the Game honors.Filed under: Boston Bruins, Boston Bruins Video, DCU Save of the Day, NESN Video, Top Stories, Video

Zdeno Chara Refuses To Let Jarome Iginla On The Bench BECAUSE HE'S A MONSTER

The Bruins are ******* monsters man. Maybe those dudes at Habs Eye on the Prize is right, maybe the Bruins are beginning to reap what they sow. Dion Phaneuf’s hit from behind on Bruins rookie defenseman Kevan Miller didn’t land him in the penalty box, but it will cost him a pair of game checks. James Neal suspended 5-games for kneeing Marchand

I think the suspension should be longer, but that's the breaks. It's a good thing that Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand wasn't hurt by the dirty play. Nice to see that Dion Phaneuf will probably be getting suspended for his dirty hit on Kevan Miller. 5 games for Neal. Why we hate: the Boston Bruins

Why we hate.  An ongoing series analyzing the teams, players, and things that piss Canucks fans off the most. First up: the Boston Bruins. History: In 1986 the Canucks traded Cam Neely and a first round draft pick (Glen Wesley) for Barry Pederson. This move has proven to be arguably the worst trade in Canucks history. In 108 contests leading up to the 2011 Stanley cup finals series...

Throw the book at them already!

So this is what the NHL has come to; someone throws a legal body check that doesn’t injure anyone, and he has to engage in a fight because of it. And if he doesn’t? Well, according to Boston Bruins’ enforcer Shawn Thornton, he doesn’t have a choice. By now everyone has seen what transpired in Boston last week between the Penguins and Bruins. On Friday we get to find out exactly...

After spending 16 years with the Calgary Flames, Jarome Iginla will take the Scotiabank Saddledome ice as a visitor for the first time in his career. Before...

The Bruins and Andrew Ference, together at last

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was seven the last time the Edmonton Oilers beat the Boston Bruins. The 20-year-old Oilers center will try to help end his team's 10-game skid against the Eastern Conference-leading Bruins on Thursday night in Edmonton.
