The NHL announced the All-Star rosters, and Kimmo Timonen and Claude Giroux are the lone Flyers selected. Matt Read and Sean Couturier also were selected to play in the all-star rookie game. The complete NHL All-Star rosters can be found here.
Who is left off the list? Scott Hartnell. Peter Laviolette recently said that it would be criminal if Hartnell was not selected.
It really is a joke that Hartsy was left off of the roster. Compare his numbers to a guy like Alex Ovechkin, and you will find his numbers are better. Hartnell is 12th in the league in goals.
In other Flyers news, Sergei Bobrovsky will get the start against the New York Islanders tonight. It will be his second straight start.
