KTLA-TV news reporter Allie Mac Kay spanked the NJ Devils mascot during a live morning news broadcast in Los Angeles.

Mac Kay is a LA Kings fan and she really showed who’s the boss by spanking the mascot’s butt hard.

“Allie pulled out her bedroom moves,” joked co-anchor Chris Schauble.

Kings taste slim margin between win or lose

The Los Angeles Kings' 15-3 postseason record can't be deceiving, can it? For a team that has won all 10 of its road games and faltered at its chance to become the first team since the 1988 Edmonton Oilers to post a 16-2 playoff record en route to winning the Stanley Cup, the margin between winning and losing isn't as stark as their record indicates. Remember the 2001...

Old man Brodeur not ready to retire

The Los Angeles Kings can end a few things with a victory in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night: The series, one of the greatest runs in NHL playoff history and the franchise's status of never having won it all. The career of legendary New Jersey Devils goalie Martin Brodeur probably won't be added to that list. "I wouldn't trade this for anything...

Kings Use 'Jersey Shore' Characters to Taunt Devils in Game 3 of Stanley Cup Final (Photo)

The Los Angeles Kings continue to roll through the Stanley Cup playoffs, just one win away from winning it all, and they also continue to "troll" their way through. There's no question that the Kings have been far and away the league's best team in the last month, and in the process of winning 15 games, L.A. has gotten some notoriety for off-ice things as well....

Brooks on Parise, 'Devils' Parise will soon wear new jersey'

Zach Parise & his fans (Photo credit: New Jersey State Library) This will be one of the top stories in the NHL this summer - where is Zach Parise going to sign and with what team. Quick leads Kings to 3-0 series lead in Cup Finals

Kings goalie Jonathan Quick It looks like the end is nigh for the New Jersey Devils. After suffering a brutal 4-0 loss at L.A. last night they are now down 3-0 in the series. A poor power play combined with the outstanding play of Kings goalie Jonathan Quick doomed the Devils last night. New Jersey was 0-6 on the power play which included a minute long 5-on-3 in the first period...

Devils survive, beat Kings in Game 4

Adam Henrique scored the tiebreaking goal with 4:29 to play, Martin Brodeur made 21 saves, and the New Jersey Devils beat the Los Angeles Kings 3-1 on Wednesday night to avoid a sweep in the Stanley Cup finals. Patrik Elias and Ilya Kovalchuk also scored third-period goals for the Eastern Conference champion Devils, who forced the NHL to put the Stanley Cup back in its crate for...

Devils have hope after gutty performance

Just as they were on the verge of exiting the Stanley Cup final in four straight games, just as they were in danger of getting shut out for a second straight game and matching the record for scoring futility in a four-game sweep, the Devils showed they weren't quite ready to call it quits for the season. Now, the Kings, the first team to have four 3-0 series leads in the same...

Will Ferrell Says Los Angeles Kings Games Are Louder than Lakers Games in Interview With Kathryn Tappen (Video)

The actor, who lives in Los Angeles, is a big Kings fan and was at the Staples Center for the Kings' 4-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday. Ferrell met up with the NHL Network's Kathryn Tappen after the...

Another LA media blunder: Jonathan Swift

Are local media stations in Los Angeles suddenly in on the joke? It seems like after each game the Kings play a different station uses an incorrect logo, team name or butchers a key player's name.  The media coverage after LA's big Game 3 victory provided yet another gem as the Fox station in Los Angeles incorrectly called Jonathan Quick...
