- Ian Leisenheimer was named America East Rookie of the Week for the 3rd time this season.
- The Portland Sea Dogs were rained out for the 2nd night in a row Tueday in New Britain CT. This will shorten the series to a 1 game series to be played this morning at 10:35AM. The Sea Dogs return home Thursday night.
- The Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins were rained out Tuesday. The game will be madeup as part of a day night double header on Wednesday.
- Jed Lowrie had sugery on his ailing wrist and should be back by the All Star break.
- The Red Sox placed Rocco Baldelli on the 15 Day DL with an aggrivated Hamstring Strain.
- Leon Powe is out for the season with a torn ACL.
- The Portland Pirates prepare for Thursday's Game 4 at the CX4 in Portland.
- The Boston Bruins take on the Montreal Canadiens Wednesday Night with a chance to sweep Montreal out of the playoffs.
