Will Tuukka Rask Play His Entire Career With the Bruins?
Tuukka Rask is statistically the best goalie in the NHL right now, but he's not even the No. 1 goalie on his own team. No, that honor would belong to Vezina- and Conn Smythe-winning teammate Tim Thomas, who led the Bruins to a 6-1 win over the Devils on Wednesday night. Rask is expected to get the start Thursday against the Calgary Flames, and he will bring the league's best...
Claude Julien Downplays Stanley Cup Rematch With Canucks, Players Relish Opportunity (Video)
Milan Lucic and Tyler Seguin were all fired up for Saturday's showdown with the Canucks. It will be the first time since last spring that the Stanley Cup finalists will meet up on the ice. Bruins coach Claude Julien downplayed the significance of the Final rematch, however. Check out his comments on Bruins Face-Off Live in the video above.
See the Amazing David Krejci

A Breath Of Fresh Air - Devils Turning Things Around Nicely
I suppose it took a 6-1 trouncing by the Boston Bruins for the Devils to finally open their eyes. Over these past couple of games, the Devils have been playing a dominant style of hockey consisting of three equal parts: strong offense, shut-down defense and solid goaltending.
The Devils have defeated the Florida Panthers (5-2) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (3-1) in back-to-back games...
Bruins Avoiding Trap Game Against Flames With Early Surge of Scoring
So much for the trap game on Thursday, right? The Bruins were coming off a game the night before, but showed no signs of it from the get-go, scoring three goals in the first nine minutes of the game against the Calgary Flames. NESN Nation's Dan Duquette is wondering if the trap might in fact have been the one the Bruins laid for the Flames. If Calgary was expecting an off night...

Bruins Live Blog: B's Back in Boston in Face Flames in Start of Four-Game Homestand
8 a.m. ET: The Bruins bounced back from Saturday's loss in Dallas with a dominating effort in New Jersey, beating the Devils 6-1 on Wednesday. They won't get much time to enjoy that victory though, as they get right back at it on Thursday when they return to the Garden to begin a four-game homestand against Calgary. The Flames are playing the finale of a seven-game road trip...
N.H.L. Roundup: Canucks Beat Bruins in Stanley Cup Rematch
After the game, the N.H.L. rescinded a game-misconduct penalty against Milan Lucic, who was incorrectly called for leaving the Boston bench to join a fight in the first period.
Bruins ready for Canucks
WILMINGTON -- The Bruins are well aware that tomorrow's showdown with the Vancouver Canucks isn't just another game on the 82-game schedule. Because of all that occurred in last year's emotional and nasty Stanley Cup final, there's obviously a lot of pride on the line -- especially for the Canucks, ...
Canucks' Schneider sure looks like keeper
You'll often hear the Bruins describe having Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask, each a proven elite-level goaltender,...
Vancouver vs. Boston – January 7th | NHL Highlights
Did you miss the Vancouver Canucks vs. Boston Bruins game Saturday morning? We’ve got the highlights for you. Rough game, a cheap game, and one with lots of casualties. Cory Schneider out battled Stanley Cup MVP Tim Thomas. Cody Hodgson, Ryan Kesler and Henrik Sedin scored for Vancouver to give them a measure of revenge. What an epic January game.
Thomas in net
In case anyone had any doubt, coach Claude Julien confirmed the Tim Thomas will be in net this afternoon. But he wasn't about to second guess Vancouver's decision not to play Roberto Luongo, instead opting to play Boston boy Cory Schneider.
