37-save effort for @ctalbot33 as @ctwhale win third straight, 6-3 over Bruins in Hartford tonight...3 points for Kris Newbury — New York Rangers (@NYRangers) October 28, 2012 The Whale are now 3-3-1 this season. Chris Kreider scored his first of the season. Kris Newbury had a goal and two assists. He now has 10 points (4g, 6a) in seven games. Ryan Bourque and Tommy Grant each scored for the second straight game. Chad Kolarik and Logan Pyett also scored. JT MIller was pointless with no shots on goal. Cam Talbot had 37 saves on 40 shots. Now he just needs to keep himself healthy. ...this Talbot guy could easily be Lundqvist's backup when Biron's contract is over. ...three in a row for the Whale gets them back to .500 and feeling great.
