Following the Flyers’ second round exit from the 2011 NHL playoffs, Flyers’ General Manager Paul Holmgren declared that he would tweak his roster but seemed to exude utmost confidence that his core players could return the Stanley Cup to Philadelphia for the first time since 1975. Well, the earthquake and Hurricane Irene proved to be mere blips on the radar screen in comparison to the calamity and upheaval that Paul Holmgren and the Flyers’ brass caused to the Flyers’ roster.
